Why is the "shipping address" different on PayPal than the one I entered into my shopping cart?

The address that you personally typed into your Tree Gifts cart for your recipient when you placed your order with us is where your gift will be delivered. When you go through to PayPal the PayPal system changes the address to the one that is saved in your PayPal account. PayPal call this the "Shipping Address" on their website which we understand can be confusing. 

Please be assured that we do not use the shipping address that shows on PayPal (we actually ignore it!)  - we only deliver the gift to the address you physically placed into your cart for your gift recipient on our website.


You will receive a confirmation email from Tree Gifts NZ once payment has been made through PayPal which will show the recipients address which you entered into your cart.  We know this may seem confusing at times, but thousands of ecommerce stores across the planet have so far been unable to get PayPal to change the "Shipping Address" wording on their site... we still live in hope that they may one day!


Can I add a gift card? 

Absolutely! - Within the checkout process once you have entered the purchaser details and your gift recipient's details the next step will take you to a  "enter your gift card message" box along with the ability to click on a calendar to advise when you would like your gift delivered.  Gift cards are hand written here at Tree Gifts giving your gift a personal touch.   We do not send any invoicing, receipts or purchasing information with our gifts, these are only emailed to you, the purchaser.  
 


Can I pay using my NZ bank account? 

Yes, we are more than happy for bank transfer as payment, this option is provided at checkout. Please note international bank transfer payment is not available due to the clearance costs required.


Can I specify a date I would like my Tree Gift delivered?


Yes! - You can even order 12 months in advance if you do not wish to miss an important date.  Just select the date you would like delivery on the calendar within the checkout process and we will do our very best to have your gift arrive on time. 

Please note we are unable to guarantee a delivery date for rural couriers due to the amount of time required for delivery. Please see our delivery information page for delivery timeframes.



Peak times

Although we will always endeavour to have your gift delivered on a requested date - at specific peak times of the year, such as Christmas, Mothers/Fathers Day, Valentines Day & Easter large courier volumes within the courier system may cause delays due to circumstances outside of our control. During these peak times we cannot 100% guarantee delivery dates but we will always do our very best for you.


If no one is at home when the gift is delivered will it still be dropped off, can I specify a time?

All gifts are marked "authority to leave" to ensure they are left at the premises and no delay occurs in the delivery of your gift. We are unable to guarantee a time of day that the gift will be delivered as this depends on when the courier in the local area drives through the particular suburb which we have no control over.

All of our gifts are traced through the courier network on a track and trace system. A tracking number will be emailed to you on dispatch of your gift which you can follow online. If your gift for any reason does not arrive when you had expected it to, please let us know and we will follow up with the courier immediately during working hours.
