Delivery Information


There are delays  across NZ due to couriers experiencing higher demand as we head towards Christmas  (we are now in "Peak Season").  At this time of year we cannot guarantee a delivery date, regardless of that entered in your cart, where time allows we will send early to try to get as close as possible to your selected date.  

We will always end a courier tracking number to you on dispatch so that you can watch your parcel in transit and follow up directly with the courier.  Please expect delays and be patient with NZ's hard working courier drivers.  


UPCOMING CLOSURE Tree Gifts will be closed on Friday 4 December for dispatches as we process a large volume order, there will be no dispatches of Internet orders on this date unless your order was placed before 28/11/2020. Dispatches will resume from our office on Monday 7 December thereafter.

Rural Deliveries Nationwide Last Day for Ordering 16 December 2020

Important Note Delays are likely across the courier network from late November until Christmas as people shop online more in 2020

If you are ordering non perishables,
such as Seed Bomb Gifts or Artwork, and they are coming to yourself, we will dispatch immediately to you.  It is better for it to be with you and out of the courier network at this time than be waiting on a parcel to arrive during peak season.   

If you are ordering trees for gifting "on" Christmas Day - you will need to remove the tree from its gift box and care for it, it is very straight forward and does not require a lot of effort - please click here for information on how to do so.


Standard Delivery Times:

Orders received by 2:30pm (NZST) Monday to Friday are dispatched on the day of order (ex public holidays)  or at a later date you may choose in your cart.  Standard delivery time frames, apply thereafter (please see below).     

Please note that delivery time frames required by the courier will always over-ride the delivery date you may select in your cart.  For example, should you select next day delivery but the delivery time frame required is a 2 day delivery service to the area, this will be the quickest we can have your gift arrive at its destination. 
Please note there will be no deliveries on public holidays or regional anniversary dates, please click here for these dates.

Tree Gifts include no receipts or paperwork with gifts delivered, the only thing that will be inside the packaging is your gift and gift card. All receipts are emailed to the purchaser only.

Same Day

Often available within Wellington CBD / Lower & Upper Hutt CBD if ordered prior to 8:30am. Please place a note at cart if you are wanting us to see if Same Day Delivery is available for your order as this needs to be requested and does not happen automatically.

Covid 19: Not currently available (unless Upper Hutt) - ex Rural) our team will hand deliver for you. Rural will need to go on a courier.

North Island
(ex Rural)

1-2 working days after the date of dispatch, (Monday-Friday) location dependent. Typically overnight to most main centres ie: Auckland / Hamilton / Whanganui/ Wellington 

South Island
(ex Rural)
2-3 working days after the date of dispatch (Monday-Friday) Orders to Invercargill / Gore / Wanaka areas please allow 3 working days (ex Rural)

Rural Delivery*
Normal delivery time frames above +2 working days (ex weekends) for the rural courier to deliver to the property  Includes all rural areas as well as Waiheke Island.  We do not deliver to Great Barrier Island.

Delivery Costs:

Whilst other companies up their product prices and claim "Free Shipping" (we know you can see right through that one!) we would rather be up front about the actual delivery costs.   

Delivery including all external packaging starts from $6.50 NZ wide for our smallest gift items and increases by weight / dimensions to  $12.50 for our large trees.  We do not charge extra for rural delivery.   For volume orders price is calculated by weight and location at checkout.   

Delivered by Courier (ATL):

All gifts are marked "Authority to Leave (ATL)" to ensure no delay occurs in the delivery of your gift, during Covid 19 all couriers are working on Authority to Leave until further notice with no contact at the delivery address.

The couriers do not have the ability to deliver at a specific time or call ahead to make sure someone is home.  They will however leave the parcel in a safe place at the property, we recommend sending to a work address should leaving the parcel at a residential property not be safe or if the courier would have trouble accessing the property (ie: Apartment / Dog / Code Controlled Gated Communities). 

Please use the NZ Post address and postcode finder to double check your delivery details, a redelivery fee will be applied should we need to redirect the gift if the information given on the order is incorrect.   

At times deliveries can be delayed due to factors outside of our control (such as natural disasters, road closures, pandemics!, Inter island ferry sailings being cancelled due to Wellington blowing a gale,  just to name a few).  We will always do our very best to have your delivery made when requested but due to these unforeseen factors cannot guarantee delivery on the date you choose 100%.

We will always send you a courier tracking number on dispatch so you can view your gift whilst in transit and out for delivery.  Should your gift not arrive when you would expect it to (given the standard time frames above), please do email and we can follow up the courier for you during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm).    We cannot follow up with the courier on weekends.


All gifts offered through Ltd can only be delivered to physical street addresses within New Zealand (excluding Great Barrier Island).  Gifts cannot be sent internationally nor to NZ PO Boxes or Private Bags. Ltd are unable to seek reimbursement with couriers for delays in parcel delivery.
