Delivery / Refunds / Returns:
Tree Gifts New Zealand utilises an external courier delivery system for the delivery of gifts nationwide. Although we will do our very best to ensure your gift is delivered on your preferred delivery date, Tree Gifts New Zealand will not be held accountable for delays to the delivery which are outside of our control within the courier network. Please see our Delivery Information page for standard delivery and peak delivery time frames such as Christmas / Mother's Day / Valentine's Day.
Please note that delivery time frames on our Delivery Information page over-ride those which you may enter within your cart. For example: Should you select a delivery date of the day after order, however standard courier delivery time frames to the delivery address require a 2-3 day delivery, the standard delivery time frame will apply as this will be the quickest we can deliver your gift (unless we were to catch a plane to the area and hand deliver it personally... we're always up for it if you want to pay for the return plane ticket though!).
Occasionally Air Freight for urgent deliveries can be arranged. If your gift is urgent and you would like to find out if it can be delivered via Air Freight please call 0800 87 33 44 for advice. Air Freight tickets are $25 in addition to the standard delivery ticket prices listed in the cart (ex Saturday delivery).
Rural Delivery (including R.D addresses and outlying rural towns) require 4-5 working days (excluding weekends) from the date of dispatch to final delivery to the property. This is due to the utilisation of a sub-contractor within the courier network who takes the gift from the closest main centre to the rural property. This applies to all R.D. addresses within NZ including Waiheke Island and some outlying towns which fall outside of the normal courier zone. For this reason we are unable to guarantee a specific date of delivery for rural addresses. If you would like to check if your address is rural please call 0800 87 3344 or email the team.
Please note a redelivery fee will be charged if the delivery information provided at the time of order is incorrect resulting in the non-delivery of your gift. We will contact you as soon as we are advised by the courier company that there is any issue surrounding delivery via the phone number or email you provided when you placed your order.
Payments & GST (Goods and Services Tax):
Treegifts.co.nz Ltd is located in NZ and all prices listed on the Treegifts.co.nz website are in $NZD. Our products and services attract a Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 15%. All prices advertised are inclusive of GST.
Credit Card Payment:
Treegifts.co.nz Ltd accepts payments using Visa and Mastercard. If you are utilising the online credit card payment facilities on this site, then it is your responsibility to ensure that the transaction and credit card information along with all other details you provide in relation to payment made through the website are correct. We do not accept liability for transactions wich are incorrect as a result of incorrect / inaccurate data of information provided by you.
Can I pay using my NZ bank account?
You are more than welcome to pay via bank transfer into our NZ bank account, this option is available at checkout.
Returns Refund Policy:
Refunds from Tree Gifts NZ will be made back to the purcaser's credit card or alternatively by bank transfer if this was the initial method of payment. If you have any queries regarding a payment please contact us directly on 0800 87 33 44 or via email email@example.com
Changing of Tree Type by Recipient:
At times your gift recipient may decide that they would like to change the tree type they have received. We can organise this by way of having the courier collect the gift and returning it to Tree Gifts NZ. This service via the courier network is called Freight Forward. Please note there is a minimum Freight Forward charge of $20 from the courier network to collect the gift. A further redelivery charge would also be required.
Treegifts.co.nz reserves the right to make minor changes to products in order to expedite delivery. Every effort is made to deliver our gifts as presented on our website, however in the event of any supply difficulty we do reserve the right to substitute hamper goods of the same type or equal or greater value. An example of this may be where a particular flavour biscuit / biscotti is ordered and not available – a different flavour will be chosen for your gift box.
