Delivery / Refunds / Returns / Client Data:


Can I get delivery on a specific date? 

As we use a third party for delivery, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. but we always try to do our best for you. We cannot refund shipping if the courier is late, this is outside of our control and often related to the weather or ferry sailings being cancelled.

All perishable gifts under conditions of carriage with couriers across NZ are marked "Authority to Leave" and left at the address.   Please see our Delivery Information page for further information.

Delivery time frames from the courier  Delivery Information page over-ride those which you may enter within your cart.  For example - Purchaser selects a delivery date of the day after order, however standard courier delivery time frames to the delivery address require a 2–3 day delivery, there is absolutely no way it will get there the next day. There is no overnight courier service to areas which have 2-3 day delivery windows.

If the courier tracking shows the parcel has been delivered however you are advised that it is not at the property (after speaking with the recipient) please firstly double check the address, you provided on your order to ensure it is the correct.  We will be able to get proof of delivery by way of photograph from the courier, failing this, we will ask for a phone number for the recipient.

Incorrect Delivery Address Given and gift delivered?   The courier, having fulfilled their obligations cannot go back and retrieve - all parcels are marked "Authority to Leave".  

In this instance we cannot make a claim for refund from the courier who has completed their job to the address provided and no refund to the purchaser is available as we have delivered where we were advised to. Please ensure you always double check your delivery details.  You would need to send someone personally to the address to retrieve the parcel.  All couriers are GPS tracked.  

Rural Deliveries* 

Rural Delivery (including R.D addresses and outlying rural towns) require 3-4 working days on top of standard delivery (excluding weekends) from the date of dispatch to final delivery to the property.   This applies to all R.D. addresses within NZ including Waiheke Island and some outlying towns which fall outside of the normal courier zone.

Returns Refund Policy:

If any damage occurs to your gift in transit, we will refund the damaged portion or replace after photographs are provided, we must be notified of any damage within 2 working days of arrival. 

Cancelling an Order Prior to Dispatch:

Should you wish to cancel your order before it is dispatched, we are happy to do so.  However, we are charged non refundable fees by the payment gateway on placement of the order, therefore any refund will be less these (4%) fees.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be refunded, however we will of course meet all obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Account Payment:

All goods remain the property of Treegifts.co.nz Ltd until accounts are settled in full.  All orders placed and confirmed are deemed to be a binding contract between the purchaser and Treegifts.co.nz Ltd.  All costs incurred in the recovery of accounts will be added to the total amount owed.

 

Payments & GST (Goods and Services Tax):

Treegifts.co.nz Ltd is in NZ and all prices listed on the Treegifts.co.nz website is in $NZD. Our products and services attract a Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 15%. All prices advertised are inclusive of GST. 

Treegifts.co.nz Ltd accepts payments using Visa and Mastercard, Afterpay and Internet Banking.  

All costs incurred in the recovery of accounts will be added to the total amount owed. 


Fraud:

Through the website we get alerted if an order is deemed to be high risk of fraud.  If this happens the order will be refunded to the credit card immediately, should you wish to continue with the order we will require bank payment via Poli direct to our bank account.

If you have a charge from us on your credit card and you believe it is not yours, please contact us immediately on info@treegifts.co.nz together with your phone number.

 

 

Product Substitution:

Treegifts.co.nz reserves the right to make minor changes to products in order to expedite delivery.  Every effort is made to deliver our gifts as presented on our website, however in the event of any supply difficulty we do reserve the right to substitute goods of the same type or equal or greater value. 

An example of this may be where a particular flavour biscuit / biscotti is ordered and not available – a different flavour will be chosen for your gift box to the same value, or a specific hand lotion scent may be substituted for another.

As a customer, when you agree to sign up to our database, your information becomes an asset of Treegifts.co.nz.  In the case of sale of the business our database of client information will become part of the sale of the business to any new owner.  You have the right to remove yourself with the unsubscribe button on all emails or via letting us know on info@treegifts.co.nz at any time that you would like your data removed.
